I am sure you all know how in love I was with New Kids on the Block! For those of you that do not know, they are back together and just have started their tour. My friend Kel went to see them in Boston and got to meet them!!! OMG I am so jealous!!! (oh...and excited for her at the same time; lol) Here she is with my favorite - Joe!!

Day at the Zoo!
It was a beautiful Saturday and we actually did not have anything planned, so Xavier and I headed to the Zoo. I think 1/2 the people in St. Louis had the same idea...but it was a fun day!
On a side note, Friday night I got out a Thomas costume that Aunt Judy handed down to see if it would fit. It does...so guess what Xavier is going to be for Halloween...but he fell in love with the Thomas hat. He slept in it and would not take it off so we wore it to the zoo.
Xavier said the lions and the giraffes were his favorite!
Once we got home he went out in the backyard to play. Of course the hat was still on, but the sunglasses were added. He is a funny little guy!

Happy Birthday Kim! I was trying to think how many times I have wished you a happy birthday. 1990 was the 1st one...so 18 times. WOW! You are a great friend. I hope that you have a great one!!

A Day at the Park
On Saturday we met Hannah and Ms. Julie at the park and for lunch. As always, it was a fun day! 
After nap, Xavier wanted to play his video game and I realized he has my sense of humor (God help us all!) Acorns were falling from a tree and bonking one of the characters on the head. Xavier was belly laughing so hard I think tears were coming out!!

Labor Day Weekend
Xavier and I headed out of town for the annual trip to Mark Twain Lake with Michael's side of the family. We had a fantastic time and it really was a great way to end the summer. There were 15 kids ranging in age from 6 months to 14 years old. It amazed me how well behaved, how polite and how much fun they all were. Needless to say, Xavier had a great time playing with all of his cousins!
Here is Tori. She is the only girl out of the 15 kids. Poor thing.

The beaches were closed, but we found a little sand for the kids to play in (after you walked through 5 feet of mud). Tyler and Xavier were trying their hardest to make some sand castles!
Here is Xavier roasting his 1st marshmallow! He wouldn't eat it once it was done, but he loved making it!
Tyler celebrated his 7th birthday over the weekend too! He is one of the several 8/31 birthday's. Also sharing a birthday on 8/31 is Grandpa John, Michael's cousin Dustin, and the twins Erin and Daniele. Happy Birthday to you all!!
Late nights and busy, fun days in the fun lead Xavier to be pretty tired. Here is my precious little guy zonked out!
Thank you Janice for a fun weekend! We can not wait until next summer so we can do it all over again!!

I am so excited for Michael that I just have to share his news!
(Yes, in the most loving way this is a little bit of a dig because I knew Michael would not get on here to share it with everyone. Go ahead, prove me wrong. Yeah...didn't think so. ) :)
Anyway - Michael found out today that his promotion went through!! There were a lot of issues and after a lot of persistence on Michael's part everything got corrected and they got "the call" today to say it went through!!
CONGRATULATIONS Michael!!!! We are so proud of you!!!!!
Because of this, if anyone plans on sending Michael anything, let me know before you send it because his mailing address is a little different now from the one I originally had sent.

Autism Speaks
My family gathered together for a bowling benefit to raise money for the Autism Speaks organization. We all had a fantastic time and everyone was very generous for a very worthy cause!!
Xavier absolutely loved bowling!! His favorite color right now is orange so it was an added bonus to have an orange ball!! Granted he had bumpers up and I didn't, but I think one game he scored better than I did. I know, I know...shocking!
For the life of me, I can not remember what category Angela scored the highest in...but she did...so CONGRATS!
Once all of the bowling was over, some were even breaking it down! Go Uncle Mike!! (He always has been a kid at heart and that is why we all love him!!)

Swinging Good Time
Xavier loves to swing! We swing & sing (yeah, my poor neighbors) almost every night. Since the weather was so nice Saturday we were outside most the day!! 
"I can do it myself Mom!!" That is what Xavier said as he was pushing himself on the teeter-todder swing. He pushed himself for at least 20 minutes. He is getting too big!
After a long time on the swings, we decided to practice our swing (do you like the tie in?) and play a little baseball!
I had to throw a picture of the dogs in too. Buddy & Lilly like the nice weather also.

I just got our water camera developed which had some pool pictures from Summer thus far. We have had a lot of water fun so far and can not wait to have even more fun over the next month!
